1982 : Las canciones más populares

1982 fue el año de Joan Jett And The Blackhearts, el dueto McCartney-Stevie Wonder, el inicio de la popularidad de la corriente new wave, pero también el año de una guerra muy dura para Argentina a causa de la posesión de las Islas Malvinas.
Fue un año malo para el líder de KC And The Sunshine Band, Harry Wayne Casey, para Billy Joel y para Teddy Pendergarss quienes sufrieron accidentes automovilísticos. Pero quien no tuvo igual suerte fue Randy Rhoads, guitarrista de la banda de Ozzy Osbourne, quien falleció en un accidente aéreo.
En este año la famosa cantante Pat Benatar se casó con su guitarrista Neil Giraldo, y fue el año en que Madonna empezó su exitosa carrera musical, se produjo el multimillonario álbum de Michael Jackson "Thriller" (el más vendido de toda la historia) y por primera vez se produjo discos compactos en masa en Alemania.
